Taoist Christian

This blog is about me coming to a full understanding of who I am as a Taoist Christian. It is about the path I will take to incorporate Taoism into my Christian walk. I commence with humility, knowing I will be learning every step of the way.

  1. First Day

This is my first day as a Taoist Christian. I’m just beginning to understand it. All my life I’ve been searching for more, but I couldn’t find it at church. Now, I believe, I have the answer. The full meaning I’ve been looking for can be found in the principles of Taoism. I believe that Jesus is Lord, but I believe that his teachings contain certain ironies that are explained by a Taoism. The cross, for example, was not the ending place but the beginning. The cross represents convergence and closed mindedness, when Christ wants us to be open and free. As I understand it, he taught using riddles and ironies to show the Pharisees where they had gone wrong. He wanted to show us His way. His way is “don’t judge.” I will provide other Jesus sayings in future posts that relay a Taoist message.
